Brief Bio:
Nancy R. Reynolds, Ph.D. is a Professor of Nursing, Director of the Doctoral Program and Director of the T32 in Self and Family Management at the Yale University School of Nursing. Dr. Reynolds has been actively engaged in improving the quality of life persons living with HIV since the beginning of the epidemic through her interdisciplinary research and practice. She is a funded investigator with the NIH, NIAID, AIDS Clinical Trials Group and has conducted a series of NIH-funded studies to develop and test a telephone-delivered HIV medication adherence intervention. She is also interested in antiretroviral adherence measurement and is a co-investigator on other NIH-funded interdisciplinary teams examining antiretroviral medication adherence behavior and smoking cessation in HIV+ domestic and international clinic populations. She is a regular Scientific Review Group participant of NIH, HIV special sections and is actively involved in research and academic development partnerships in China and India.
