Brief Bio:
Dr. Brian Forsyth is Professor of Pediatrics and Yale Child Study Center. He is an attending physician in the Yale Pediatric AIDS Program and Medical Director of the Family Support Program for HIV Affected Children. He is the Yale principal investigator of the Serithi Project in Pretoria, South Africa, a multidisciplinary study addressing factors that affect mother to child HIV transmission. Other research interests relate to orphans and vulnerable children and addressing the effects of parental HIV disease on children.
