Letter of Intent (LOI) The Ethel F. Donaghue Women's Health Investigator Program at Yale University

Women's Health Research at Yale is offering grant support for research from the Ethel F. Donaghue Women's Health Investigator Program at Yale that will result in direct practical benefit for women. The letter of intent must be received in the Program Office by 12:00 Noon on 12/10/2007. The LOI should include a descriptive title (not to exceed 60 characters) to the proposed project, the name and title of the principal investigator and other key personnel. The letter should include a summary of the project including the project's specific aims (250 words), how the findings of the proposed project would have practical implications for the health of women (100 additional words), and the time frame needed to achieve the stated aims of the project. Awards will be for amounts up to $50,000 (in direct costs only), and for either a one- or two-year grant duration. A full application will be requested from those investigators whose proposed projects are consistent with Women's Health Research at Yale funding interests. Full applications will be due by 2/13/08, and will be peer reviewed.

HEAR ME Project: HIV/AIDS Story-Writing/Video Competition

Deadline: 12/01/07 THIS WEEK!
The HEAR ME Project is again sponsoring its annual HIV/AIDS story writing competition. Young people ages 14 to 22 are encouraged to submit their original stories, either real or made up, about vulnerability to HIV and AIDS. The HEAR ME Project has also launched a new video contest that is taking place at the same time as the annual story-writing contest.
