in Russia:
The Case of HIV/AIDS Prevention
CIRA Law, Policy and Ethics (LPE) and
International Core (IR) Mini-Conference
On October 8 & 9, 2004, the Center for Interdisciplinary
Research on AIDS (CIRA) at Yale University convened a conference on the
impact of drug policy on HIV prevention in Russia. The conference brought
together experts in law, human rights, drug use and community research,
harm reduction and biomedicine who have an abiding interest and experience
in the Russian Federation.
The conference was organized by Robert
Heimer, Ph.D., and Kevin Irwin, M.A.
