Asima Jena, M.A., Study Ethnographer, received her degree in Sociology at the University of Hyderabad and is pursuing her Ph.D. on "Emerging Risk Groups in India: A Study on HIV/AIDS". She has worked as a Project Associate for the International Organization for Migration-India on ERTV (Economic Rehabilitation of Trafficked Victims) and as a Research Associate for the NGO Global Research and Consultancy Services in Hyderabad on various projects on gender, migration, child labor, and drought.
